 For those that love the “white stuff” and dream of powder days on the slopes or cruising the cross country trails, Teton Valley is Heaven on Earth! Nearby Grand Targhee Ski Resort averages over 500 inches (42 ft) of the lightest snow around. National ski magazines rate Grand Targhee in the top three, year after year, for snow quality and quantity. They also boast the lowest ratio of skier to off trail powder acres in the country! Jackson Hole Ski Resort is famous for its immense terrain and steep vertical that will keep you going all day long. For those that don't spend your days at the ski resort, you can enjoy snowmobiling, dog sledding, ice skating, or a sleigh ride through a herd of Elk. The serenity and beauty of our area can also be explored on one of the many Nordic Ski Trails within Teton Valley or on our very own groomed Nordic trails. Not a skier, we have snow shoes available as well.
 For the true "thrill seeker" there's nothing like heli-skiing to get that winter adrenaline rush. And it doesn't get any easier to try it out since High Mountain Heli operates from the Teton Springs Lodge. Just walk out your door and board the helicopter for an unmatched powder skiing experience.
