The Gift that Keeps on Giving
Founded by the original owners/developers of Teton Springs Community, Resort and Headwaters Club, the Teton Springs Foundation has been contributing to the Teton Valley Community since 2001.
Meeting twice a year, the Foundations 7-member board made up of local community members, has not only contributed to the financial health of over 30 local non-profits, but its board members, along with employees of Teton Springs are active in the community and fill board positions throughout Teton Valley.
Beginning in 2001 with just under $5,000 granted in the first cycle.....then including the $33,000 granted in Spring, 2010..... the Foundation has granted over $640,000 to local Teton Valley non-profits since 2001.
When the original founders of Teton Springs envisioned the Teton Springs Community, they realized they should share their good fortune by supporting non-profit organizations which work to improve health and human services, education, the environment, art and culture and sports and recreation. It was realized in the beginning that they needed to take a pro-active role in providing for the community good so the Foundation was developed to help fund the non-profits within Teton Valley through real estate proceeds. Funds from each real estate transaction within Teton Springs are provided to the Foundation by covenant as well as by fund-raising activities throughout the year.
If you are interested in donating to the Foundation, private citizens and local businesses are encouraged to make a tax-deductible contribution through the Foundation to assist with local non-profits. Please contact the Teton Springs Foundation for more information.
